Last week, the Brandl Anderson team was honored to receive the Parade of Green Path Leadership Award.

Presented by the Builders Association of the Twin Cities, the Green Path Award recognizes building or remodeling organizations for their efforts in advancing of MN Green Path. Additionally, organizations that receive the Green Path Award are held to inspire with their innovation, passion and commitment to building or remodeling energy efficient and sustainable homes.

To receive the award, Brandl Anderson has been producing homes with a Home Energy Rating System (HERS) score at an average less than 50. Homes with a HERS Index Score of 70 are 30 percent more energy efficient than a standard new home.

There is, undeniably, a correlation between how a home is built and how it impacts the environment. From materials and construction in the onset, to appliances consuming power well into the future, a healthier planet depends on smarter, more energy-efficient homes.
