Is the cost of the homesite included in your prices?
When you’re exploring new construction options with Brandl Anderson, you’ll see that each plan comes with a base cost. This is the cost of the structure itself, as well as base interior and exterior features, and a base homesite. Some homesites have additional costs related to them for certain added features such as look-out windows in the basement or wider yards.
How long will building my home take?
Building your new home with Brandl Anderson will take approx. 6 months from the time you sign your purchase agreement. At the time that you sign your purchase agreement, we will provide you with a tentative closing date. Once your home is under construction and the schedule finalized, we will provide you with a more precise closing date. We will provide frequent updates on the progress on your home and how they will affect the completion.
How much money will I need to build a new home?
You'll be asked for an earnest money deposit at the time of purchase agreement and another deposit at the time that construction starts. The remainder of the home price will be due at closing.
What are the standard finishes?
Brandl Anderson builds homes of lasting value and quality. Each of our homes comes with an extensive list of included features. Our New Home Sales Consultants will be happy to review these with you and go through the model home to point out what’s standard and what is an upgrade.
What does the construction schedule look like?
The order of construction phases generally looks like this:
Pre-construction work, like document preparation and permitting
Grading, site prep, and foundation pouring
Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC system installation
Roofing and windows
Insulation and drywall
Flooring, cabinets, countertops, and other interior features
Driveway, and sidewalks
Are your homes customizable?
At Brandl Anderson, our homes are built around the way families want to live – with open floor plans, adaptable spaces and comfortable rooms. Our exclusive designs take everything into account – but that doesn’t mean we’re not flexible. Want to move a wall? We can do that. Need to remove a closet? Sure thing. We work with our customers to build dream homes for real budgets.
I’m overwhelmed with the idea of making so many decisions, but want to purchase a new home – what are my options?
Most people never build a new home, not because they don’t want to, but because they don’t know how. Brandl Anderson has built thousands of homes, and we’ve got the custom home building process down to a simple, 10-step program that anyone can understand.
What warranties are provided with the house?
Every home built by Brandl Anderson comes with a 1, 2, and 10 year warranty. You will be provided specific warranty information at the time of the purchase agreement.
What if I want a new home, but don’t want to wait for the home to be constructed?
Brandl Anderson has a variety of quick move-in homes available – built for you in mind! With selections made of the best materials by our Interior Designer – we are sure that you will find a home that you will love!
What is your inspection process?
Building a new home relies on passing foundation and electrical inspections, among others, not to mention acquiring the correct permits. It’s good to know that your builder covers all the bases to ensure your project starts on solid ground.
